Adam Hall

Class of 2007 / Inducted 2022 / Baseball

Adam Hall established himself as an impact player on the baseball diamond during his time playing for the Wasps from 2005 to 2007 after transferring from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.

His performance during the spring of 2006 has been described as arguably the best all-around offensive season in the history of Emory & Henry baseball. Hall set single-season program records in runs batted in (58) and triples (6), while finishing in the top five in runs scored (35), hits (61), doubles (15) and home runs (10).

Hall was selected to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Conference Second-Team in 2006.

He finished his career as the All-Time leader in runs batted in (97) and tied for the All-Time lead in triples (8), while ranking fourth in slugging percentage (.613) and fifth in home runs (15).

Following graduation from Emory & Henry, Hall obtained his Master’s Degree in Sports Management from East Tennessee State University while working in the front offices of Minor League Baseball. He has taught business at Virginia Middle School and coached baseball at Virginia High School in Bristol, Virginia

Adam subsequently returned to school to earn another Master’s Degree, this time a Master of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina. Hall returned to the Tri-Cities eight years ago to work for Eastman Chemical Company, where he is currently a Human Resources Business Partner.

Adam currently resides in Piney Flats, Tennessee with his wife Tasha and their son Beckett.
