David C. G. Greear

Class of 1928 / Inducted 1975 / Men's Basketball

A 1928 graduate of Emory & Henry College, Dr. David Greear was posthumously inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in 1975 for his accomplishments on the basketball court. Greear was a forward who was selected as captain twice in his career. During his time at Emory & Henry, the Wasps’ basketball program had an overall record of 46-10.

After his time at E&H, Greear became a prominent physician in Bucklin, Missouri. He died on December 27, 1958.
