Roy L. Marshall

Class of 1935 / Inducted 1975 / Football

Roy L. Marshall, a multi-sport athlete during his time at Emory & Henry College, was inducted posthumously into the Sports Hall of Fame in 1975. Marshall lettered once in basketball, three times in football, and four times in baseball. He was captain of the baseball team in his senior year.

During his time at Emory & Henry, Marshall was president of Phi Gamma Phi social fraternity, president of the 1934 junior class, a member of Blue Key Honor Fraternity, and was elected to the 1933 honor court.

Marshall was a resident of Bluefield, Virginia, until his death in 1956.
