David L. Via
David L. Via was inducted into the Emory & Henry Sports Hall of Fame in 1982 in recognition of his achievements on the football team during his college career. Via was a four-year letterman who played on the wildly successful E&H football teams that competed in the Burley and Tangerine Bowls.
After graduating, Via attended the Medical College of Virginia and became a dentist. His professional engagements have included local, state, and national dental associations. He stayed connected with his alma mater, serving as president of the Alumni Association as well as the Association’s Richmond Chapter.
