Scott Pruner
Scott Pruner played defensive end for the E&H Wasps. During his four years from 1990-93, the Wasps had a record of 32-10. The 1990 team went 6-4 and won the ODAC Championship, and the 1992 team went 11-1 winning not only the ODAC Championship, but also appearing in the NCAA tournament and advancing to the Quarterfinals.
Emory & Henry statistics made the Wasps the top-ranked defensive team in the ODAC in 1991 and 1992, with Scott being a big part of that success.
Pruner still holds the E&H record for career sacks with 36 and is second in season sacks with 15.5 in 1991. These numbers still place Pruner at second in the ODAC with career sacks and third in season sacks. Scott was First Team All-ODAC in 1991 and 1992, and in 1992, he was also selected as First Team All-America.
Pruner, inducted in 2016, was a management major at Emory & Henry and now works in sales.
