Shea Rickard Rasnake
Shea Rickard Rasnake was a four-year standout member of the Emory & Henry College Women’s Tennis program.
The Wasps registered a 41-25 team record during Rasnake’s time on campus. She played the #1 and #2 positions in both singles and doubles, accumulating 48 wins in singles and 52 wins in doubles.
Rasnake helped lead the Wasps to third-place finishes at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships in both the 1996 and 1998 seasons. She then led E&H to a second-place finish at the 1999 ODAC Championships.
Shea was a consistent performer all four of her years at Emory & Henry. In addition to her talents on the field of play, she was also a leader off the tennis courts. She was always the encouraging force that challenged her teammates to perform to the best of their abilities.
